The Töllin Taipale Run is a traditional running event typically held at the beginning of July. The event proudly belongs to the Central Finland village running series, and the route length is approximately 11.4 km. There is a separate Junnu Töllin Run for children, which diverges from Verkkalantie into its own loop of about 3.5 km, returning along Siltatie to the center and continuing to the same finish line at Kirveslahti harbor. The Töllin Taipale Run will next take place on July 3, 2024, at the Petäjävesi cultural center Miilu.
Highlights
- The Tölli Taipale run once again got both big and small moving, and the rainy weather did not scare off the runners.
- After the rain, the adults were able to run the entire distance in clear weather, and as usual, the event included runners from Petäjävesi and the surrounding municipalities.
